In order to adapt to the essentials of the liberation of the Tunisian economy and to confer to its action more efficiency the O.D.C chose to follow a consensus way based on the installation of a partnership with the different economic intervening economic parties. In this frame, the O.D.C signed cooperation conventions with:
» “La société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz (STEG)” in 2001;
» “Tunisie Télécom” in 2003 ;
» Tunisian Hotel Federation (FTH) and Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV) in 2003 ;
» “Tunisiana”, (Private Operator of mobile telephony)
» La Société Nationale d’Exploitation et de Distribution des Eaux (SONEDE) in 2003;
» National Agency of Energy Control in 2004 ;
» National Employer’s Association of Driving Schools in 2004;
» Updating the convention with the Employer’s Association of Dry-Cleaners, in 2004;
Similarly, a national charter for a permanent commerce was signed in September 2004, between the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Craft (UTICA), the National Union of Agriculture and Fishing (UTAP) and the O.D.C under the aegis of the commerce and craft ministry. This charter constitutes a convenient platform to reinforce the dialog and the consultation between the concerned partners.
In this frame, the O.D.C is working to establish conventions and agreement protocols between the concerned parties so as to better serve, at once, the national and the consumer interests.
